Our themed quarter system offers students new class choices and topics every 8 weeks. Students can take part in our group classes and educational experiences or opt for independent study. While students must meet our graduation requirements, they have flexibility in how they meet those requirements. Education is a journey and we try to help our students get the most out of their time with us, based on their personal interests and abilities.

The connect term is about connecting with nature and our local community. Students will spend time in nature, participate in volunteer work in the community, take part in promoting our zombie movie and learn from local organizations. Students learn about local, state and national government and are encouraged to have a voice in their community.
At Aspire, the students run the school! Four student run committees are in charge of everything from curriculum to strategic planning. Adult voices help to guide students and get them to think about all aspects of important issues. Students work as a team and have to confront social issues head on in order to maintain a safe and enjoyable school environment.
What if you could choose what you learn in high school? Aspire high schoolers have the opportunity to join group classes or to follow their passion through independent study.
At Aspire, we challenge every student to do their best work. For some of our students, this includes taking AP exams in May. In addition to advanced classes, our juniors and seniors have the opportunity to attend classes through the University of Montana’s Early to College Credit program.
At Aspire we value each student and focus on individual strengths in order to ensure their success. Students spend a minimum of six hours each day at school. Those should be happy, interesting and engaging hours.
